7:49 p.m. @ 2003-09-20ShOw, sHoW, ShOw!Yeah, time for a real entry.
I have just been so busy lately so I'm just going to start by talking about last night.
The December Tragedy had a show at their new place, The Lower Room. 6 bands altogether .. yeah it was awesome! A lot of people. And now, I'm like super sore from moshing. There's not much to say about it, really. I rode out there with Stephen and Rachel. Everyone should go to www.thedecembertragedy.com and check it out. Caleb (the drummer) took pictures of me, *blushes* =)
I've been talking to Stephen alot lately I guess you could say. We usually stay up into the night and discuss topics .. like here's one:
Stephen made the comment about how he didn't think cheating was .. cheating. Here was his debate: Okay, when you write an essay, it's not about the essay itself, it about knowing where to find the information. And when you study, its about knowning where to look in your book or notes and finding the information. All cheating is knowing where to find your information off another person, so why is cheating considered so bad? ... Yeah he has a point.
Another thing we talked about was I was joking around with him and I said something along the lines "Don't hate." And he replied with, "But I hate in a loving manner." And I said, "Isn't that kind of an oxymoron?" Here is what he said: "No, it's more of a paradox. A paradox is something that can be mistaken for something else, (ie. an oxymoron for a paradox) And when I said I hate in a loving mannor, see, hate can be used as a action or a feeling. I don't think that there can be love when hate is present. And so therefore, I mean hate as a action and love as a feeling. "
Him and I just discuss random things, such as that. I don't know .. he just blows me away with some of the things he can be thinking .. He analyzes everything to the point that there can be a true statement that he can make false, or a false statement, he can make true.
"I always catch the clock, it's 11:11 and you want to talk."
